Bright Eyes
Conner Oberst is taking a break from his producing and his solo project, Conner Oberst and the Mystic Valley, and went back to his roots - Bright Eyes.
I've always been a huge Bright Eyes fan, starting when my good friend Brad showed me the video for At the Bottom of Everything, and its no exception with The People's Key.

Tapes 'n Tapes
in '08 Tapes 'n Tapes released one of my favorite albums of the year, Walk it Off.
Today their followed came out. From what I've heard I'm liking it. Hopefully the rest of the album is up to par.

Okkervil River
Last night on Jimmy Fallon indie folk rockers, Okkervil River, announced the release date, album cover, and album title. I am Very Far will be released May 10th.
Last time they came to Salt Lake I wasn't able to see them, Gallivan Center isn't the best venue, but they sounded great.
Here's the new song "Wake and Be Fine" with a little help from A.C. Newman from The New Pornographers.
